As the picture above illustrates, sin has caused man and God to become separated.
We could no longer be in close contact with God, the way God wanted us to be.
So God sent Jesus, His Son, to take our sin when He died on the cross, allowing us a pathway back to God.

Of course, to receive the gift of salvation, you must accept it. You can do this by prayer.
If you ask God to forgive you, and to make you one of His people, God will forgive your sins, accept you as His own, and give you His Spirit to help you in your new life.
